And this time – Warsaw!

Twenty years after the Pulmonary Circulation European Forum, the pulmonary hypertension community returns to Poland. The International CTEPH Association (ICA) invites clinicians, researchers, and experts from around the world to gather in Warsaw for the International CTEPH Conference 2026 (ICC 2026) — one of the leading scientific meetings dedicated to chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) and related thromboembolic diseases.

This edition of the conference reflects stronger international collaboration and a broader scientific perspective than ever before. The Polish Cardiac Society will endorse ICC 2026, while experts from the ERN-LUNG Pulmonary Hypertension Networks in Prague and Warsaw will actively contribute to the Scientific Committee and programme development.

The scientific programme will present the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of CTEPH, including progress in pulmonary endarterectomy, balloon pulmonary angioplasty, and medical therapies. At the same time, the conference will explore the growing impact of Pulmonary Embolism Response Teams (PERT), which are rapidly transforming early interventional management of acute pulmonary embolism.

Special attention will also be given to the increasingly recognized clinical entity CTEPD (Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Disease) — the complex “grey zone” between pulmonary embolism and pulmonary hypertension that continues to challenge clinicians and researchers.

ICC 2026 will take place at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel, a modern and prestigious venue located in the very heart of the city along the historic Royal Route. Within walking distance are the Old Town, the Royal Castle, the National Opera, renowned art galleries, and the monument to Nicolaus Copernicus — a reminder that groundbreaking ideas can reshape the way we understand the world.

We warmly invite you to join us in Warsaw on 11–13 June 2026 for the International CTEPH Conference. Share your research, exchange clinical experience, and take part in discussions that will help shape the future of CTEPH and pulmonary vascular medicine.

Save the date and plan your visit to Warsaw — we look forward to welcoming you to ICC 2026.
