Old Town

The Old Town is the heart of Warsaw, full of charming townhouses, narrow streets, and picturesque squares. Walking through this historic area, you will feel as if you have traveled back in time.
The Old Town Market Square was the site of many historic events, including the famous election of 1764, when Stanisław August Poniatowski was chosen as King of Poland.
 

The Little Insurrectionist

This touching monument commemorates the youngest participants of the Warsaw Uprising. It is a symbolic tribute to the children who fought for the freedom of their city.
The monument was unveiled in 1983, on the 40th anniversary of the outbreak of the Uprising, as a tribute to the bravery of young Varsovians.
 

Royal Castle

The Royal Castle is a true architectural and historical gem of Warsaw. Built in the Baroque style, it served as a royal residence. While visiting, you can walk through its beautiful halls and admire the richness of Polish history.
According to legend, mysterious treasures were hidden in the castle’s underground chambers and have never been found to this day.
 

Multimedia fountain park: multimedia shows

Near the Vistula Boulevards, in the Multimedia Fountain Park in Podzamcze, Stołeczna Estrada annually stages a new light and sound show. On a water screen, viewers witness a spectacular combination of images, water, music, and lights based on Warsaw legends. The entertainment and educational value of the multimedia shows have contributed to this venue recently becoming one of the most popular public spaces in the capital.
 

Nowy Świat

This charming street is a great place for a walk and some shopping. You will find numerous cafés, boutiques, and restaurants here, creating the unique atmosphere of the area.
Nowy Świat was famous for being a favorite meeting place for intellectuals and artists during the interwar period.
 

Łazienki Royal Park

These vast gardens are a perfect place to relax. The Palace on the Isle, the Amphitheatre, and the Bathhouse Palace are just some of the attractions you will find in this picturesque park.
King Stanisław August Poniatowski often organized summer concerts and social gatherings here, attracting aristocracy from all over Europe.
 

Skaryszewski Park

Not far from the Royal Łazienki (a 13-minute drive) lies one of the most beautiful parks situated on the escarpment of the former Vistula River valley – Skaryszewski Park, considered one of the most picturesque parks in Europe. It features charming ponds, sculptures, and old-growth trees, creating a green oasis in the heart of the city.
 

Palace of Culture and Science

This is one of the most recognizable buildings in Warsaw. Built in the socialist realist style, the palace has served many different functions since the 1950s.
Many residents have mixed feelings about the palace because it was built as a form of post-war compensation funded by the Soviet Union.
 

Wilanow Park

It is a perfect place for a walk away from the noise of the city. The park surrounding the Wilanów Palace delights visitors with its diverse vegetation and picturesque pathways. According to legend, the park has its own ghost – the Golden Lady, who is said to appear near the palace.
 

Wilanów Palace

a Baroque royal residence located in Warsaw, in the Wilanów district. It was built between 1681 and 1696 for King John III Sobieski and Queen Marie Casimire, designed by Augustyn Wincenty Locci.
The palace, together with the surrounding park and outbuildings, has preserved its original architectural form as well as its historical and artistic value. In 1994, the Wilanów palace complex, along with Morysin, was recognized as a historic monument. It is now a venue for cultural events, concerts, and meetings. A garden is located next to the palace.
 

Holy Cross Church

The monumental Baroque church towers over Krakowskie Przedmieście with its two tall spires, and the statue of Christ carrying the cross standing in front of the entrance is one of Warsaw’s most recognizable sights.
Admire the vast, gold-adorned main altar, pause in the side chapels, or find the place where the heart of the outstanding Polish composer Frédéric Chopin is laid to rest. Each year, on the anniversary of his death, the entire church resonates with the sounds of Mozart’s Requiem.
 

Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

The Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art creates and promotes art in all its forms while encouraging reflection on culture and society. Its strength lies in its community of artists, audiences, and team. Warsaw Uprising Museum

This emotional place will take you back to the times of World War II. In the museum you will find authentic testimonies, artifacts, and reconstructions that show the heroism of the Warsaw insurgents.
In one of the corridors there is graffiti drawn by uprising soldiers, which has survived to this day as a testament to their determination.
 

National Museum

For art lovers, this is a must-visit place. You will find a rich collection of Polish and European works of art, from paintings to sculptures.
The museum’s collection includes the famous painting “Lady with an Ermine” by Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most valuable works of art in the world.
 

POLIN

One thousand years of Polish Jewish history is chronicled in this incredibly impressive, popular museum. One of the top spots in the city.
 

Museum of Warsaw

What has shaped Warsaw into the city it is today? Who were and who are its residents? How did they live, and how do they live now? You can discover this and much more while exploring the exhibition “The Things of Warsaw.” The city’s remarkable story is told through over 7,000 original objects, including both works of art and everyday items.
The museum itself is housed in 11 historic townhouses. Inside, the original spatial layout has been preserved, along with 17th-century wooden ceilings, decorative entrance halls, and wall paintings.
After your visit, you can watch a film in the museum cinema or enjoy a view of the Market Square and the Old Town from the observation point on the fifth floor.
 

Poster Museum

The Poster Museum in Wilanów is the oldest institution of its kind in the world and one of the most dynamic branches of the National Museum in Warsaw. Established in 1968, it grew from a poster collection that had been developed for years within the National Museum. Today, its collection includes tens of thousands of Polish and international posters, showcasing the evolution of graphic design. The museum hosts around ten exhibitions annually and actively collaborates with other institutions worldwide. It continues to evolve, adapting to the changing landscape of contemporary graphic design.

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN Warsaw) is one of Poland’s leading institutions dedicated to contemporary art. Established in 2005, it presents a diverse program of exhibitions, events, and educational activities that reflect current social and cultural issues. The museum focuses on both Polish and international artists, creating a dynamic platform for dialogue and experimentation. Located in the city center, it plays an important role in shaping Warsaw’s modern cultural landscape.
